Global Workforce Provides Business Continuity for Existing and New Clients
Our top priority in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic is to keep our global team healthy and safe so they can continue serving their families, our clients, and the communities where we work.
We also are working closely with our clients to plan and provide for their changing business needs. Here are some of the actions we’re taking to ensure we can continue to serve our clients and fulfill our mission to provide meaningful work:
1) Remote Access
We have closed our offices in the U.S., U.K., Nepal, and Kenya. We’ve recommended that everyone who can work from home should do so. We’ve also made it possible for all CloudWorkers to work remotely by making secure laptops available to them. CloudFactory’s managed workforce is now 100% distributed.
While remote work may present a formidable challenge to some organizations, it’s a familiar one for us. For a decade, we have managed teams of distributed workers, so we’re accustomed to working remotely. We’re leveraging those years of experience, our technology platform, and our secure IT infrastructure to better serve our employees and clients today.
2) Providing for Worker Needs
We are making changes to accommodate our CloudWorkers’ needs, including creating flexible shifts. We’re also encouraging our employees to connect with their fellow team members to continue to build relationships and surface emerging needs.
3) Prioritizing Business Continuity for Our Clients
We are in touch with our clients to plan and adjust for any changes in their data enrichment and data entry needs to sustain throughput for business continuity. We’re also planning for contingencies. As always, if you have questions, please contact your Client Success Manager.
4) Community Service
We understand the changes everyone is making to comply with expert and government guidance - such as the closures of schools and businesses - have placed a hardship on some of our communities’ most vulnerable people. As always our teams are discovering needs around them and taking action on the ground in the communities where we work:
- Kathmandu, Nepal
- Nairobi, Kenya
- Reading, United Kingdom
- Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina, United States
We remain committed to our mission to create meaningful work, and we will continue serving our clients and our communities as we all adjust to a new normal.
